Burt's Texas Garden: This week, we will have: Corn Dip, Strawberry Jam, Jalapeno Jelly, Chow-Chow, Pickled Beets, Ready-to-Fry Okra, and Farm Fresh Eggs.

LAVERNE'S VEGETABLE PATCH - This week I will have HOMEMADE SALSA, JALAPENOS, COUNTRY FRESH EGGS. HELLISH RELISH, PICKLED OKRA and new for this season YELLOW SQUASH.

Munkebo farm will have field peas in pod, sweet potato leaves, basil, eggplant, okra, duck eggs, prickly pear jam, basil pesto, artichoke dip, balsamic vinaigrette, organic apple pie, quiche Lorraine, quiche Florentine and bacon wrapped dates.

Kala's Kuisine: offering a wide variety of sweet to very hot salsas and chutneys: Curry-Tabasco, Mango Chutney, Chutney Salsa, Mirchi-Masala & Curry -Chipotle Salsa. Stop by for a bite!!!


Bikkurim: GREENS! Squash yellow or zucchini, tomatoes, potatoes (new potatoes need to be refrigerated as they are not cured), okra, peppers. Farm raised organic whole chickens and eggs. Canned tomato soup and sauce.

Mata Tamales: Beef, Pork, Chicken and Spicy Bean this week. New item, vegetarian tamales made with black beans, squash and corn and vegetable oil. Empanadas too! Empanadas are little pastries filled with fruit and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. All made by three generations of the Mata Family of Manor.

Ray the Noodle Man will be at the market with hand made noodles from the Texas

Wendish Heritage Society his Mom started some sixty years ago. Noodles made the old fashioned way using eggs, flour and salt. Just like his Momma known all over Central Texas as the Noodle Lady used to make.


Green Grass Meats will be attending both the Wednesday market downtown and the Saturday market at New Tech High School. David will be bringing us antibiotic and growth hormone free beef from their fields right here in Central Texas including two pastures in Manor. Steaks, ground beef, cutlets, roasts, summer sausage, jerky and beer sticks. For more information on their practices go to Green Grass Meats dot com. Buy two Sausage get a Beef and Pork Sausage free. I'll still do two Ground Beef get a Beef and Pork Sausage free also. Big special for this month is soup bones one dollar each. For large orders please order a day in advance. Gordon will be bringing a variety of squash and okra. Pickled beets, plum jam, peach preserves, apple butter and blackberry jelly.

Mr. & Mrs. Rojos will bring home grown chillies, several varieties, and home made gorditas- chicken, beef or bean and cheese.

Cotton Candy Kidz will have an assortment of new bows, and new baby wipe case patterns!
We will also freshly made homemade buenuelos!

Bloorhouse:I'll have fresh Bath Milk at the market this week as well as lots of Bath Bombs!. I'm starting to get Holiday orders... now is the perfect time to order gift baskets. Bloor House products are the perfect choice for teachers' gifts and stocking stuffers! We have something to fit every budget!


Manor Fall Festivities Announcements:

Manor Lions Turkey Shoot every Sunday afternoon through the end of November It’s fall and that means it’s time for our seasonal series of Turkey Shoots. We hold them every Sunday from the beginning of October until the end of November, starting at 2pm and usually lasting for 20-25 rounds which takes about 2 to 2 and a half hours. Our location remains the traditional prime spot at the corner of Hwy 290 and FM212 right at the stoplight on the edge of downtown Manor.
We plan to continue to shoot 15 targets a round for at least 25 rounds a day and hopefully more, but with any luck we’ll be adding some special events as well, so watch this space for news on what we’ve got planned. Rounds are going to be $3 each, but we may also shoot some bonus rounds for bigger prizes for $5 each.
The specific dates for the shoots are: October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 and November 7, 14, 21, 28.

want to learn about processing chickens, join him Saturday from 8 to
noon and they will grill some deer sausage and have a delicious lunch.

Bloorhouse: I'll have a bunch of fresh bath bombs at the market this week. A big batch of Beer Soap is nearly done curing and I'll bring a few this week (The rest will be done next week). I'm starting to get Holiday orders... now is the perfect time to order gift baskets, I have ample time to make just about anything you need for gifts!

This week for the Saturday market we are back at New Tech High School along with the 8th grade PTA raising funds for the students. Come on by and visit the PTA fundraiser in the cafeteria and the market out on the lawn.

For the Market this week:

Bikkurim Farms: Fresh locally grown yellow and zucchini squash, small new potatoes, cucumbers & okra. Canned tomato sauce and soup. Farm fresh eggs that look like they ought to be in an Easter Basket and whole organic chickens.

Green Grass Meats: Ground beef buy two get the third one free plus all special offers from their website are good at the market too. All naturally raised in fresh air and sunshine eating green pasture grass.

Mata Tamales: Three generations of the Mata family from Manor come together to make the best Hot Tamales in Manor. Chicken, Beef, Pork and Vegetarian. Try Francesca's pineapple empanadas too.

Bubba's Smokin Hot Salsa will be starting this week. Made right here in Manor, come by and try a sample.

Beth and Raymond with their delicious mixes are starting this week. Soup, salad dressing, muffin, dips and all sorts of convenient mixes from the Houston area that only need a few fresh ingredients from our farmers and a couple of items from your pantry to make complete.

Cotton Candy Kidz will be at the market after the big ShadowGlen garage sale. A new assortment of bows and hair dos this week. Holiday orders gladly taken.
