tamales, apples & turkey
Some kind of crazy good market tomorrow. Apples from Alexander Family Farm. Tamales from Manor's own Velasco Family. Tecolote Farmers vegetables. Laverne has cherry tomatoes that are like candy. Beef, pork, turkey, eggs, salsa, jellies. It's all good at Manor Farmers' Market.

Chilly Fall Market Tomorrow
Oh it's gonna be a great fall market tomorrow: Tecolote Farm is sending cucumbers, turnips, arugula (spicy lettuce), squash, parsley, garlic chives and SALAD MIX. It is very rare we have tomatos and lettuce at the same time in Central Texas so get out your salad bowls and enjoy!
Laverne is back! Famous salsa, farm eggs and lots of peppers: serrano, jalapeno, bell, hot or sweet banana & cherry tomatoes.

6J Ranch joins Manor Farmers' Market bringing us pork, poultry, beef and eggs . Come on by and welcome our new member. 6J uses Polyface Farm methods.
Tecolote Farm is starting to bring us vegetables and herbs from their farm in south Manor next week. They were going to start this week but David dislocated his shoulder. Squash, cucumbers, lettuces and lettuce mixes, eggplant, peppers, turnips, beets & lots o herbs
Lavernes shoulder is healing from the break and should be back next week.
Burt's Texas Garden will be providing us with vegetables again starting next week.
Green Grass Meats of Texas buy two sausages and get one free, Because of the extreme heat I'm only able to bring a certain amount of product. Plus we we have a new 5 LB Ground Beef package for $25.00. This is a $5.00 savings but must be ordered before MarketSo if you want more than a regular order or something special, please order ahead so everyone can receive a price break. Texas Wendish Society Noodles for sale by Raymond. Hand made the old fashioned way just like his Momma made using eggs, flour and salt.
Gordon has some Swiss Chard this week and there will be more next week and the week after that.
Manor Farmers' Market is looking for more vendors. Mata tamales' schedule has changed and Benita is no longer able to come. We also need a baker and more vegetables too! Give me a call 278-1611 Denise
The Manor ISD Student and Family Support Services department is hosting a HOLIDAY SHOPPING EXTRAVANGANZA on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 4pm-9pm. The event will be held at the Manor New Tech High School cafeteria.
We are currently seeking vendors of all kinds to sell their products/services at this event. Table spaces will rent for $25 (doubles for $45), if you provide your own tables, then the space will be $20. There is also a $5 vendor discount for MISD employees. Spaces will be approximately 6'x8'. We will be limiting the quantities of "same type" vendors, so that the event will offer a nice variety of goods.
We are also requesting that vendors donate a door price for raffle.
If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact me directly to secure your space for this event. All spaces will need to be prepaid prior to the event. You can call or email me with any questions.
