LAVERNE'S VEGETABLE PATCH - This week I'll have yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, tomatoes, salsa and country fresh eggs.
The Goodwin Homestead will have stained glass mosaics for home and garden. Beautiful hung in a window, useful for doors stops, bookends or garden accent. Uniquely embellished, hand made, felted wool bags and bracelets. APRICOTS from our wonderful old tree.
Burt's Texas Garden: This week, we will have Zucchini, Potatoes, Cucumbers, and Herbs. In the canned goods department, we will have Jalapeno Jelly, Chow-Chow, and Pickled Beets. Fresh Eggs. Corn Dip, too! The first batch of Dill Pickles will be ready on June 23rd.
Gordon has lot's of vegetables this week. Stock up while you can. Squash - acorn, yellow straight or crook neck & zucchini. Potatoes, tomatoes, purple German shallots, 1015 onions, carrots & chard . In the jelly aisle we have jalapeno, plum or black berry. Also, apple butter and pickled beets.
Munkebo Farm has peaches, green beans, bell peppers, red or white freshly dug (that's what new potato means) potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, magenta spreen, yellow or zucchini squash. Also, ready to bake apple or blueberry pie. Duck eggs, frozen Muskovi Duck and Piedmontese Beef. Very lean, very healthy, raised on prairie grass south of Manor on the Post Oak Savannah.
Ray the Noodle Man will have homemade Texas Wendish Heritage Society noodles for sale. Just like his Momma used to make using only eggs, flour and salt.
Mata Tamales: Three generations of the Mata family come together to make tamales for Manor. To the market they will bring chicken and pork tamales. Special orders for jalapeno cheese, bean and cheese or beef may be made in advance by calling 517-1441.
Kala's Kuisine: Dinner plates, artichoke dips and Bloody Mary Mix. A wide variety of sweet to very hot salsas and chutneys: Curry-Tabasco, Mango Chutney, Chutney Salsa, Mirchi-Masala & Curry -Chipotle Salsa. Also, momos samosas, hummus and a variety of gluten free noodle salads. Stop by for a bite!!!
Bloorhouse will be there with home made bread, a fresh batch of mosquito repellent and all her usual luxurious bath items.
